Ben Robertson, founder of Expo Expert
Ben Robertson is the person behind Expo Expert.
The 36-year-old grew up in the United Kingdom and is a Natural Sciences graduate from Durham University. While at Durham University he was editor of college newspaper WoodWord, for which he was nominated for the Best Journalist in the Durham Student Awards and co-publisher for University-wide newspaper Palatinate.
After university he moved to Stockholm, Sweden, where he has been resident since 2011. His career has started in the classroom as a science teacher but after a decade he has left the teaching profession to work as project co-ordinator for the non-profit Kista Sports Club in his local area.
However, much like his time at university, Ben has kept up his journalistic work on the side of any career. In particular he has written significant long-form content for ESC Insight, the industry magazine of the Eurovision Song Contest. Further to that has he has work published on The Local Sweden, Sweden's largest online newspaper in the English language, and Nyhetsbyrån Järva which is his local suburb's online newspaper.
The aim of this site is to tell the stories of what is inside the Expo to a wider audience, to encourage more to attend and find out more, and to help those millions coming to the Expo to make an informed visit. Hopefully can Expo Expert help you discover everything behind a World Expo experience.
